Yvonne, Princess of Burgundy was performed at TEATTERIMONTTU at University of Tampere 21.10.2005-19.11.2005

This theatre production combined two basic mission of the Department of Acting: MA-acting studies and artistic research

This website is part of a artistic (Doctoral degree) research by Mikko Kanninen in Tampere University Department of Acting . Yvonne, offered a strong traditional theatrical form, so an excellent opportunity to research acting and the role of other elements in relation to the structure. This structure was used, for instance, as demolition of the form to small fragments of different characteristics, phrases, verses and gesture fractions. It follows, that from the perspective of the research (art) the stage ´s (performance) musical form could arise and reviewed as its main property.

Mikko Kanninenwho also did the music and video projections. Light designer was Samuli Hytönen. Costume, hair and jewellery was designed by Jonna Lindström
